大東山位於大嶼山南部，海拔高度869米高，是全香港第三高的山峰。二東山位於大東山東面，海拔高度747米高。每年芒草盛開的秋冬季節，兩座山峰及爛頭營一帶都染成了金黃色，加上千變的雲霧變化，尤如置身於仙境之中。
Sunset Peak (or Tai Tung Shan) is 869m high, is the third highest peak in Hong Kong. Yi Tung Shan is 747m high, lies to the east of the Sunset Peak. During autumn/winter, the mountains are covered by many golden Chinese silvergrass (miscanthus). Dozens of stone houses are built among silvergrass at the Lantau Mountain Camp. It is like walking into a dreamland.
